What does it take to be a member...
- Are you a parent who enjoys doing activities with your child(ren)?
- Do you want to meet other local parents?
- Our chapter is open to parents who reside within our boundaries! (98373, 98374, 98375, 98338, 98446 zip codes)
- The annual membership fee is $30, but that can be waived if it poses a financial hardship to your family. Your dues help the chapter to fund service projects and pay for administrative fees (copies, etc). Check out the Community Service Page to see where we have donated our funds to in the past!
We are a volunteer-run group! Each member is asked to participate in at least one service project each year that serves children within our community. This can be as simple as donating your gently loved toys to a toy drive, or school supplies to our school supply drive. Our chapter loves to do service projects, so there are plenty of opportunities throughout the year!
Every month we hold a Meet & Greet where we discuss and vote on chapter business. We ask each member to volunteer on a committee during the year, from helping to plan activities to arranging meal delivery for members who have just had babies. This gets everyone involved and helps our members get to know each other better.
*Many parents ask why we have zipcode boundaries. MOMS Club International divides up chapters based on zipcodes. This is to ensure chapters don't get too spread out, and it encourages moms and kids to get to know others in their neighborhoods or near their homes. Check out MOMS Club International @ momsclub.org to find out which chapter you live closest to!
