PLAYGROUP HAVE STARTED!
Whew! The weather is starting to cool down, and now our play dates are steadily heading indoors. Jennifer has organized the playgroups this year, so if you haven't signed up with her, please get in touch! :0) We've still got a couple of plans for outside activities this month, so don't miss out! With that said---
Did you know? Our full Calendar is now on meetup.com. If you haven't applied for the group, this would be a great place to do it as you will have access to the calendar once you're approved.
So now that we're heading indoors, any ideas for activities?

Getting Real About Stranger Danger
A terrifying experience that no parent wants their children to go through. Just this last September, a child who attends Pope Elementary was followed by a man on his way home from school. As the child started to run, so did the stranger, and the boy was able to evade him by heading for a neighbor's door. When I received the notice from Puyallup School District about this attempt, I knew that we needed another refresher in Stranger Danger.
Stranger Danger Education is great at any age. With Summer Fast approaching, our children will be hitting the public parks, pools, and recreational activities. The threat is real, but it doesn't have to cause fear or anxiety, or preventing us from enjoying what summer has to offer. MOMs Club is giving you this opportunity to get prepared! Bring your child(ren) to our Stranger Danger event!

Our Moms are Luved!
Valentines day is going to be here before you know it! It's typical to plan this day with your someone special, so what's a Moms Club to do? We luved our moms! This is the typical Ding Dong Ditch idea with a Valentine's Twist. A gift with Valentine's goodies is dropped at the door of someone on our rooster, along with a note and door sign (Attached below!). The poem reads:
From candy to cookies, to décor and stickers, our moms (and their children) were showered with all kinds of wonderful gifts-- and just like a solid community does-- the love continues to spread! Here's what moms said:
You are LUVED!
We're out to show how much friends care
During the month love's in the air.
Cupid's after things to do.
In fact Cupid brought this treat to you.
Hang your heart for all to see
On your doors where it should be.
It will show that you are cared for
By a MOMS Club friend with good rapport.
The treats that came with Cupid's note
Are yours to keep; enjoy them both
The love is shown when friends like you
Copy this and give it out among friends
You've made in MOMS Club - don't let it end!
Just one short day to work your magic.
Don't let love's scorn be tragic
And don't forget a nifty treat,
Like something cute or something sweet.
Please join the fun and of all above
Have some fun and spread the LUV!From candy to cookies, to décor and stickers, our moms (and their children) were showered with all kinds of wonderful gifts-- and just like a solid community does-- the love continues to spread! Here's what moms said:
