Apple Picking in Downtown Puyallup!

Apple Picking: Tuesday, October 4th 2011
Kids had a fantastic time picking apples at the YMCA's Friend & Servants Farm. We have picked apples here for several years, and it's always a blast. The trees were right at kid-picking level and they loved eating them right off the tree! This farm works great for kids since the trees haven't been treated, so they are welcome to eat as they pick! We also saw the vegetable garden and were able to pull up a few carrots. We'll be sure to visit this farm again next year, and maybe early enough in the season to pick marionberries! Yum!

Annual Fire Truck Visit!

We had a great visit from the Graham Fire Department this year! Kids got to climb all over the trucks, try on the uniforms, and each child got a helmet and badge! What a great turnout! Thanks for joining us and bringing your friends!
